CREA is the cultural organization of the University of Amsterdam and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. It operates a theater, café, music hall, and multiple studios where it offers courses and workshops in music, theater, dance, visual arts, video, photography, and literature. CREA produces dozens of performances, concerts, events, and exhibitions annually and hosts weekly Studium Generale lectures on science, art, and society. Its facilities are available for hourly rental outside of course times.
