About
De Zwaan is a village community center on Middelweg in Uitgeest, housed in a building constructed around 1875. The current structure replaced an earlier wooden tavern that burned down in 1920. The site has roots in the area's hospitality history, with a predecessor establishment documented from 1569 in the Kerkbuurt district.
