GelreDome is a multi purpose stadium in Arnhem that opened on 25 March 1998 as the Netherlands' first venue with a retractable football pitch. It serves as home to football club Vitesse and hosts concerts, congresses and trade fairs, with a capacity of 34,000 for concerts once the pitch is retracted. The stadium can transform from football venue to concert hall in approximately 6.5 hours including preparation, and features climate control to maintain comfortable temperatures throughout the space.
