About
Rijswijkse Schouwburg opened in 1991 as Rijswijk's first dedicated theatre venue, designed by architect Boot from the Rotterdam firm Van den Broek & Bakema. Prior to its construction, performances were held in spaces not specifically designed for theatre use.
