About Papa Roach

Papa Roach built their reputation on the kind of raw, emotionally direct rock that hit hard in the early 2000s, and their breakthrough single "Last Resort" still resonates enough that a ten year old covering it on America's Got Talent can go viral. The Vacaville, California band went triple platinum with their major label debut Infest in 2000, riding the nu metal wave alongside Limp Bizkit and Eminem's Anger Management Tour, then kept evolving, shedding the rap elements across albums like Getting Away with Murder and The Paramour Sessions while picking up a Hot 100 hit with "Scars". Drummer Dave Buckner departed in 2007 and Tony Palermo stepped in, but the band never really slowed down. They have released consistently through the 2010s and into the 2020s, with their eleventh studio album Ego Trip arriving in 2022. More recently they teamed up with Carrie Underwood on "Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)" and put out "Last Resort Reloaded" with Jeris Johnson, showing they are still finding new angles on a catalogue that refuses to sit still.
