Streeckgenoot

Streeckgenoot is an indoor events venue in Doetinchem, located in a converted industrial or warehouse building at Spinbaan 21A. The space was reimagined in the early 2020s as a festival style destination, and its character leans firmly toward the celebratory and communal rather than the formal concert hall. One of its most frequently cited features is its exceptionally long bar, billed as the longest in Europe, which gives the venue a distinctly social, festival within four walls atmosphere even when hosting smaller shows.

The main performance and events space is called the Festihal, a medium sized hall that accommodates concerts, festivals, and a range of cultural events. The name itself signals the venue's intent: something between a festival field and an indoor hall, aiming for the energy of an outdoor festival without the weather dependency that comes with it. This positioning makes Streeckgenoot somewhat unusual for a town the size of Doetinchem, offering a space that can host live music at a scale that sits between a pub stage and a large theatre.

Beyond the Festihal, the site also includes a vegetarian lunchroom, reflecting a broader ambition to function as an all day destination rather than purely a nighttime venue. Streeckgenoot describes itself as an inspirerende evenementenlocatie, which translates roughly as an inspiring and distinctive event location, and its programming spans concerts as well as festivals and other live events. For music fans in the Achterhoek region, it represents one of the more versatile and characterful options available locally.
