Studio/K in Amsterdam combines a cinema, café restaurant, and live music venue in a converted craft school on Timorplein. Run entirely by around fifty student volunteers, it presents daily programming ranging from films and bands to DJ sets and live acts, with an emphasis on groove oriented music and emerging Amsterdam talent. The venue hosts monthly cultural and social events including lectures, workshops, discussions and open mic nights alongside its regular Friday club nights.
