De Lieve Vrouw is a combined film, theater, and café venue in central Amersfoort, built on the foundations of the former Grachtkerk church. Since its conversion to a film theater nineteen years ago, it has developed into a professional cultural venue. The medium sized intimate theater hall hosts contemporary theater makers, dancers, cabaret performers, and world musicians several times weekly, while three film screens show arthouse films, documentaries, and youth films throughout the day and evening. The recently renovated café serves visitors before and after performances.
