About
Utrecht Conservatorium was founded in 1875 as a music school and is one of the oldest music education institutions in the Netherlands. Since 1974 it has occupied buildings on Mariaplaats that formerly served as a concert hall and a hospital. The conservatorium is recognized internationally for its music training programs.
