De Spot is a cultural venue in Middelburg hosting concerts, dance events and open mic nights. The space serves as a platform for local bands and features a diverse programming of music and cultural events. The venue operates primarily through a volunteer team of around 60 people who manage the bar, sound and lighting, promotion and kitchen operations.

On 9 October 2026, De Spot in Middelburg hosts 'Miles 100', an evening celebrating the centenary of Miles Davis's birth, headlined by Michael Varekamp Eclectic Band — led by trumpeter Michael Varekamp and keyboardist Wiboud Burkens — performing classics such as 'So What' and 'Tutu'. Support comes from The Groove Connection Project, a trio of producers Mannix & McCloud and vocalist Marjon van Iwaarden, blending lounge, dance and soulful pop. The event is organised in cooperation with Muziekpodium Zeeland.
