De Spot is a volunteer-driven music and culture venue in Middelburg, hosting concerts by international and local bands, open stages, dance nights and theater. It plays an important role in pop culture in Middelburg and Zeeland.
About
On 9 October 2026, De Spot in Middelburg hosts 'Miles 100', an evening celebrating the centenary of Miles Davis's birth, headlined by Michael Varekamp Eclectic Band — led by trumpeter Michael Varekamp and keyboardist Wiboud Burkens — performing classics such as 'So What' and 'Tutu'. Support comes from The Groove Connection Project, a trio of producers Mannix & McCloud and vocalist Marjon van Iwaarden, blending lounge, dance and soulful pop. The event is organised in cooperation with Muziekpodium Zeeland.
