About
90's NOW is a touring party concept built around one simple idea: the nineties, turned up to full volume. DJs spin through a wide sweep of the decade, from Gigi D'Agostino and Darude to Nirvana and Run DMC, covering eurodance, grunge and hip hop under the same roof. The crowd is encouraged to come dressed for the era, think neon tracksuits and butterfly clips, and requests go through a giant blue Furby, which is exactly the kind of detail that tells you everything about the vibe. The setlist leans on floor fillers that everyone in the room will know, the Macarena sitting comfortably alongside Sandstorm, with no real boundaries between genres as long as it came out in that decade. It is the sort of night where people who grew up with flippos and My First Sony walkmans feel genuinely catered for.
