Once the voice behind French pop duo Videoclub, Adèle Castillon has carved out a distinct solo path that feels very much her own. Videoclub's blend of 80s nostalgia and dreamy synth pop went viral on YouTube and TikTok almost overnight, partly thanks to Castillon's existing fanbase on the platform. After the duo dissolved in 2021 following her split from bandmate Matthieu Reynaud, she took her time before dropping her debut solo single "Impala" in 2022. Her solo sound lands somewhere in alternative and indie pop territory, drawing comparisons to Billie Eilish. Her debut album PRD: Pleasure Risk Dependency arrived in October 2023, followed by her second album Crèvecoeur in 2025. That same year she played the Vieilles Charrues festival and sold out the iconic Olympia Hall in Paris, where her name was spelled out in giant red letters on Boulevard des Capucines. She is signed to Columbia Records and also collaborates with rapper Gazo.
