About
Aisles are a six piece band from Santiago who blend rock, progressive rock, fusion and Latin music into something that's distinctly their own. Their second album, In Sudden Walks, even landed them a Best Foreign Record nomination at the Prog Awards, and they were the only South American band invited to the Crescendo Prog Rock festival in France back in 2009. The records tend to go big on concept and atmosphere. 4:45 AM leaned hard into visual aesthetics, pulling from drama and other art forms, and its title track ended up on a cover CD with the UK's Prog magazine, which gave British listeners their first taste of the band. Then came Hawaii, a two disc concept album about human colonies in space after Earth's destruction, recorded over ten days at Estudio del Sur. That studio is also where they shot several live sessions, and a music video for Fast followed in 2021.
