About
Alexander Stewart has built something genuinely unusual: a career where raw emotional honesty and massive online reach actually reinforce each other. The Toronto born, Los Angeles based pop singer songwriter describes his catalog as a "sonic diary," and tracks like "I Wish You Cheated" and "His Problem Instead" bear that out, both landing on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. His TikTok push for "I Wish You Cheated" pulled in over 43 million views and earned him a spot on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His Juno nominated debut album Bleeding Heart arrived in May 2024, and he kept the momentum going with "Wrong Way," a collab with producers Two Friends that hit number one on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. His sophomore album What If? followed in October 2025, featuring "Friends Don't" with Lauren Spencer Smith among its singles. He has now racked up over half a billion streams globally, and in 2025 he signed with Virgin Music.
