Formed in Orlando in 2004 from the ashes of Creed, Alter Bridge hit the ground running with their debut One Day Remains reaching No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and going gold within months of release. The lineup of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Myles Kennedy, lead guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips quickly carved out a heavier, more guitar forward sound than their former band, with Tremonti's metal rooted riffing sitting alongside Kennedy's bluesy, jazz influenced playing. Their song "Metalingus" became one of rock's most recognizable wrestling entrance themes, famously adopted by Edge in WWE. The band hit a creative stride with Blackbird in 2007, kicking off a long run with producer Michael Baskette, and kept building from there. AB III earned them their first No. 1 rock single with "Isolation", and The Last Hero in 2016 brought them back to the Billboard 200 top ten. With over 5 million records sold worldwide and eight studio albums to their name, including a self titled record and the recent single "Silent Divide", they show no signs of slowing down.
