About
Andrew Belle is a Chicago based singer songwriter whose song "In My Veins" became something of a phenomenon, racking up over 100 million streams and downloads after it soundtracked an iconic moment in the Grey's Anatomy season six finale. The track also turned up in Castle, Cold Case, and a handful of other TV shows, which gave Belle a loyal following well before most people had caught on to him live. His albums chart a real shift in sound. The Ladder leaned acoustic and intimate, but by the time Black Bear arrived in 2013, Belle had pulled in influences from M83, Beach House, and James Blake, trading quieter textures for something more ambient and expansive. He kept that approach for Dive Deep, recorded again in Norman, Oklahoma with producer Chad Copelin, and that record debuted at number 8 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. His fourth album Nightshade followed in 2021, continuing a career built on lush, emotionally direct songwriting.
