About
Anna Joan makes dark, raw electronic pop and treats the stage as more than a place to stand and sing. Her live shows mix dance, live music and strong vocals into one physical performance. She's a multi disciplinary artist, and she produces her own music herself. FKA Twigs, COBRAH and Sevdaliza are the names she points to as inspiration, and you can hear that pull toward moody, boundary pushing sound. Her EP 'SKIN' is self produced and works as a statement about sexual liberation, which gives the whole project a bold, unapologetic edge. Originally from Tilburg, she's one to watch if you like your pop with some teeth.
