About

Also known as: A Pink, エーピンク, 에이핑크

Apink's first music show win came for "My My", a Shinsadong Tiger song from their second EP Snow Pink, and they kept stacking up awards from there. The Seoul girl group debuted in April 2011 with the EP Seven Springs of Apink and the single "Mollayo", and they picked up Rookie awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, the Golden Disk Awards and the Seoul Music Awards almost straight away. The group started as a seven piece and now stands at five: Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Namjoo and Hayoung. Their biggest chart moment was "NoNoNo" in 2013, which peaked at number two on Billboard's K Pop Hot 100. They have since built up nine Korean EPs, five Korean studio albums and three Japanese ones, with videos like "Mr. Chu", "Dumhdurum", "Dilemma" and "D N D" tracking their run from 2014 to this decade.
