About
Also known as: BAEMON, Baby Monster, 베몬, 베이비몬스터
BABYMONSTER set a record before they'd even officially debuted: the music video for their debut single "Batter Up" pulled in 22.59 million views in a single day, the biggest launch for a K pop debut video ever, and it passed 100 million in eighteen days. The seven member group from YG Entertainment, the label behind 2NE1 and Blackpink, is made up of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora and Chiquita, with members from South Korea, Japan and Thailand. They came together through the reality show Last Evaluation, and their YouTube channel hit a million subscribers in 52 days. Their first EP, Babymons7er, arrived on April 1, 2024, led by "Sheesh", which became their first top ten entry on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart. Their first studio album, Drip, followed that November and sold over a million copies at home, while also landing on the Billboard 200. In 2025 came a second EP, We Go Up, and the Hello Monsters World Tour.
