From Den Haag, Bartofso has built one of the most distinctive voices in Dutch rap, also going by the alias Akkabouz. His sound blends trap with a fluid switching between multiple languages and flows, giving him a style that's immediately his own. A 2017 collaboration with Mula B and LouiVos on 'Quote 500' got him into the Single Top 100, and his debut album 'Goeie Tijden Akkabouz' followed it up by landing at number 8 in the Album Top 100 and racking up millions of streams. His second album 'Majin Bouz' pushed him further, with tracks like 'RS', 'Extreem' and '50 Cent' pulling in tens of millions of streams between them. Signed to Top Notch, Bartofso has since expanded his sonic palette on 'LE MASQUE', a more layered and experimental record that takes his Hague trap roots somewhere new. He has played festivals including Lowlands, Appelsap and Parkpop, and sold out his own headline show at PIP Den Haag. Off stage, he actively works with young people in Den Haag, channelling his platform into creating opportunities for the next generation.
