Chivv, born Chyvon Pala in Amsterdam, is a Dutch rapper who has carved out a serious spot in the Netherlands' hip hop scene. He was one half of the rap duo SBMG alongside Henkie T for most of the 2010s, but it was his solo work that really put him on the map. The 2017 track Cartier, made together with Dopebwoy and 3robi, was a landmark moment, spending 12 weeks in the Dutch top 10 and becoming one of the most streamed Dutch language songs ever on Spotify and YouTube at the time. His debut solo album 2 borden, 1 tafel landed straight at number one in the Dutch Album Top 100, and he followed that up with Un4gettable Nights, which also hit the top spot. He has racked up multiple number one singles including Ja!, Beetje moe, HUTS and Ewa ewa, collaborating along the way with artists like Bizzey, Jonna Fraser and Latifah.
