About
Beach Vacation came together in 2012 when Tabor Rupp and Justyn Newman performed at a high school talent show in Oak Harbor. The band hit its stride early, earning international attention at just 16 and 17 years old, with their debut EP picked up for release in the UK, Japan, and the US. The project has since evolved into a solo vehicle for Tabor, who signed with Alex Wilhelm, a former Grammy Awards committee member. Their album "Coping Habits" was mixed and mastered by Erik Thorsheim, the producer behind Boy Pablo, and includes a collaboration with Cathedral Bells on the track "Blurred Out". A follow up album titled "Delayed Affection" was also produced by Thorsheim and marks a more ambitious direction for the project.
