About
Bilal Wahib split his time between screens and studios, and both paid off. The Amsterdam rapper and singer landed two big hits, "Tigers" in 2020 and "501" in 2021, and both climbed to number three on the Dutch Top 40 while sitting at the top of the Dutch Single Top 100. His music career kicked off in 2019, and his first charting single, "Vliegen", came from the soundtrack of the film De libi, where he also had a role. On the acting side, he picked up the Golden Calf for Best Supporting Actor in 2020 for playing Yousef in Paradise Drifters. You may also have spotted him in Mocro Maffia, SpangaS, Commando's and Layla M. He was nominated for Best Dutch Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2020, though he didn't take the win. Pop rap is his lane, with a screen presence that keeps him in the conversation.
