About
Bleech 9:3 grew out of a chance meeting between songwriters and guitarists Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy, two Dubliners who had spent their teenage years playing in different bands while living through strikingly similar struggles with addiction. When they finally crossed paths, a shared understanding of recovery and sobriety became the emotional foundation of the project. The lineup filled out with James Quinlan on bass and Luke O'Neill on drums, and the band quickly built a reputation as a compelling live act, supporting Keo and Shame and selling out headline shows along the way. Despite having only a handful of singles to their name, Bleech 9:3 have already carved out a sound that sits somewhere between suggestive and raw, direct without being blunt. They are a group rooted in Dublin and London.
