About
Bloody Civilian, the Abuja based Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer, writes, shoots and directs her own videos, produces her own beats, and still manages to land her music in Marvel blockbusters. Her single "Wake Up" featuring Rema ended up on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, which is a pretty wild placement for a debut era artist. Her first single "How To Kill A Man" kicked things off as the lead track from her debut EP Anger Management, released through Def Jam Recordings in 2023. The Guardian Nigeria calls her one of the most radical emerging voices in Nigerian music, and NME flagged her as an essential artist to watch. The Anger Management remix project, "Anger Management: At LEasT wE tRIED", dropped through 0207 Def Jam and stacked up a serious guest list including Odumodublvck, Fave, Tay Iwar and Joeboy. She was also tapped for the EP tied to the Bob Marley biopic One Love, which says a lot about how quickly her profile has grown.
