About
Bluesville plays the kind of blues that feels genuinely old, rooted in songs you rarely hear anywhere else. The band started in 2017 at P3, built around a straightforward idea: play good, classic material and keep it real. That core philosophy has stayed intact through the years, even as the lineup has shifted over time. The group faced a serious loss with the death of co founder Henk Wagenaar, but chose to carry on, bringing in new musicians to fill out the roster. The current lineup features Wim Molenaar on rhythm guitar and vocals, Percy Schmidt on blues harp, Michel Meijer on drums and vocals, Marcel Bakkum on bass and vocals, and Ronald Nijenhuis handling lead vocals and rhythm guitar.
