About
Bombargo are a seven piece independent pop band out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and they have a knack for turning deeply personal and emotional material into music that gets stuck in your head. Their 2017 single "Mr. No Good" caught the ear of Taylor Swift, who added it to her Spotify playlist "Songs Taylor Loves" making Bombargo the only unsigned Canadian act on a 43 track list alongside Kendrick Lamar and Ed Sheeran. Their follow up single "Oxygen" peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Canada Hot AC chart, which opened the door to a proper US touring debut. Their album Nebula, funded in part through a Kickstarter campaign, showed the band thinking bigger, and they kept the momentum going with "Pieces of My Heart" in 2024 while supporting Michael Franti on his Togetherness Tour across the States. Their catalogue has real emotional range too, from the radio friendly groove of "Pour Me Another" to "Heros Never Die", a tribute to a woman who lost her life saving children from a rip tide in Cape Breton.
