About
Broos is a seven piece band whose sound moves freely between pop, jazz, funk and rock. Warm brass, swinging rhythms and a vocalist with a powerful yet tender voice are the ingredients that hold it all together. Their original songs circle around themes of growing older, self doubt and love, which gives the music an emotional honesty that hits you in the chest even as the grooves keep your feet moving. Expect a live show that works on both levels at once: something to dance to and something to genuinely listen to.
