Opening for AC/DC in front of 50,000 people at Ullevi Stadium is the kind of moment that sums up what Bullet are about: big riffs, classic heavy metal, and a live show that earns its place on any stage. Formed in Växjö in 2001, the Swedish five piece built their sound on the template of late 1970s and early 1980s metal, and they have never really wavered from it. Their track Turn It Up Loud got Bruce Dickinson spinning it on his BBC radio show, which says a lot about the company they keep stylistically. Over seven studio albums on labels including Nuclear Blast and SPV/Steamhammer, Bullet have put in serious road time supporting HammerFall, Sabaton, and Primal Fear among others. Their 2019 double live album captures what years of relentless touring does for a band. More recently they have been releasing new singles including the title track Kickstarter and Keep Rolling, pointing toward a fresh studio album.
