About
Also known as: 캔디샵
Candy Shop are a South Korean girl group from Brave Entertainment, and they were the label's first new girl group since Brave Girls back in 2011. The name pairs "candy", standing for the idea of catching and drawing youth, with "shop", meant as the space that connects the members to their listeners. They arrived with a dance performance video for "Hashtag#" in February 2024, then debuted properly that March with the EP Hashtag# and the single "Good Girl". The lineup has shifted along the way. Yuina stepped back from activities for health reasons, and Julia joined to keep the group at four members before their next release. That came in June with the second EP Girls Don't Cry, which brought the singles "Don't Cry" and "Tumbler (Hot & Cold)". The current group is Soram, Sui, Sarang and Julia, and they keep up a steady stream of dance clips and playful content on YouTube, including a BABYMONSTER #DRIP challenge.
