About
Also known as: Carter Faith Jones
Carter Faith's debut album, Cherry Valley, landed on MCA Nashville in October 2025 and did something rare: it earned her an Academy of Country Music nomination for Album of the Year, making her the first artist in over ten years to get that nod with a debut, since Chris Stapleton's Traveller. Critics were fans of it, too. The North Carolina native came up through Nashville's songwriting scene, releasing songs like "Leaving Tennessee" and "Easy Pill" in 2020, then her EP Let Love Be Love in 2021. She played the Ryman and made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2022, and she's opened for Ingrid Andress and Ella Langley. Her sound leans on the classics, with Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton on her influence list, alongside Lana Del Rey, Kacey Musgraves and Fleetwood Mac. She's also been cast in the Netflix thriller Heartland.
