Another fun detail is that one of the most important moments in country history, the Bristol Sessions in 1927, is often called the “birthplace of country music” because it helped launch the genre into popularity. Even today, country keeps growing and blending with other styles, but it never really loses that storytelling feel that makes it so unique.
