About
Des Fais Do Do is a folk and roots band from the eastern Netherlands with a deep passion for Cajun music and related Americana styles. Six seasoned musicians bring together accordion, violin, mandolin, banjo, guitar and percussion to create a warm, infectious sound that draws on the Louisiana tradition as much as on broader American folk. The band formed in the nineties and has since played stages across the Netherlands and beyond, releasing three well received albums along the way. That track record earned them a European award for Best Cajun and Zydeco Band, cementing their reputation as one of the most dedicated acts carrying this music in Europe.
