About
Cas Heim is a drummer, vocalist and songwriter whose music sits at the crossroads of soulful pop and folk. His debut EP "One Step Away" was recorded in New York, and his follow up EP "Seasons" takes the listener on a kind of journey through the seasons, built around warm sounds, personal lyrics and carefully layered arrangements. NPO Soul & Jazz has spotlighted his work, he performed with his band on the NTR programme Bedstay, and he picked up the Young Talent Award for best singer songwriter. For someone doing everything at once, playing drums, writing the songs and fronting the band, the music feels remarkably cohesive.
