About
Also known as: Cassy Brooking, Olivia Charlotte Brooking
Cassyette's festival debut came at Download 2021, where she took the main stage and even jumped up with Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes during their headline slot. Kerrang called her "a modern alternative icon" and MTV said her sound "calls to arms", which gives you a decent idea of the energy. She started out as a DJ and songwriter on the London live circuit, and her music mixes pop and rock influences with modern electronic pop. The touring résumé is serious. In 2022 she hit Europe with Sum 41 and supported My Chemical Romance on their comeback run, and in 2024 she was one of the support acts on Bryan Adams's So Happy It Hurts tour. She also co wrote and sang backing vocals on "Doomsday Blue", Ireland's Eurovision 2024 entry, performed by Bambie Thug. Recent live clips from Download 2024 and Caribana in Switzerland show she's still going strong on the festival circuit.
