About
Also known as: Mia Ferrentino, Priscilla 1234
Cece Natalie makes the kind of pop music that sounds like it was beamed in from a 2000s mall, then run through a bedroom producer's laptop at 2am. The Connecticut artist, also known as Mia Ferrentino, built a cult following with her 2024 debut album Miss Behaves, which Paper called the "iykyk" summer soundtrack for pop heads and SoundCloud deep divers. She recorded early songs in her mother's Kia, describes her songwriting as "speaking in tongues", and self produces most of her material. The result is something bubbly and tongue in cheek on the surface, with a gritty production edge underneath. She also releases music as Priscilla 1234, leaning into house influenced R&B on that side project. Her live shows have a reputation for being, by her own admission, a bit chaotic, and that unpredictability seems to be part of the draw. After signing with Columbia Records in 2026, her sound has been getting darker and more melancholy, suggesting there is plenty more to come from this genuinely weird corner of hyperpop.
