Chase Icon built her fanbase the old fashioned internet way, posting comedic celebrity impersonations on Twitter before pivoting to music, and the queer online communities that first championed her have stayed loyal ever since. The Southern California singer works in bubblegum dance, dance pop and electropop, and her debut EP Domination set the tone: underground, unapologetically confident, and a little delusional in the best sense. She followed it up with The Girlfriend Experience in 2022, a project she teased through Boiler Room before it even had a name. Collaborations with artists like Rakky Ripper, BABYNYMPH and Umru show how wide her creative circle runs. In March 2025 she released her debut studio album Icon Baby, which Rolling Stone described as solidifying her legacy of delivering underground queer bangers that embrace an almost delusional confidence and life on the internet.
