About
Chase Rice has had one of the more unusual paths to country stardom: before anyone knew his name as a singer, he was a NASCAR pit crew member for Hendrick Motorsports and a runner up on Survivor: Nicaragua. The country music world got a proper introduction to his writing when Florida Georgia Line took his co written "Cruise" to diamond certification, one of the best selling country singles ever. Rice has since built a catalog of six studio albums, with Ignite the Night debuting at number one on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. His knack for radio ready hooks showed up again with two number one Country Airplay singles, "Eyes on You" and "Drinkin' Beer. Talkin' God. Amen." featuring Florida Georgia Line. His sound moves between straightforward country and country pop, with an acoustic sensibility that comes through especially in his live shows, which he describes as the actual building blocks of his albums.
