Christophe Maé is a French pop singer whose real name is Christophe Martichon, and his debut album Mon Paradis turned him into a phenomenon almost overnight. The single On s'attache was the engine behind it, earning the album diamond certification and shifting over 1.6 million copies. That record spent 104 weeks in the French charts and 81 weeks in the Walloon Ultratop 50, numbers that speak for themselves. His popularity spread quickly through France, French speaking Belgium and Switzerland, with constant radio play, TV appearances and a live circuit that kept expanding. He joined the long running French charity concerts Les Enfoirés in 2008, sharing the stage with names like Francis Cabrel and Patrick Fiori. His fourth album Je veux du bonheur arrived in 2013, with Tombé sous le charme becoming another hit, and the song Il est où le bonheur followed in 2016.
