ChRocktikal is a mixed gender rock band from Seoul, South Korea, operating under Dreamcatcher Company. The group is fronted by Lee Siyeon, who also serves as the main vocalist of K pop metal act Dreamcatcher, and is rounded out by a guitarist, a bassist, and a drummer, each bringing serious experience in both live performance and music production. The name itself carries meaning in every syllable: Chrome for clarity, Rock for raw energy, and KAL (칼), a Korean word evoking determination and a no nonsense attitude. That ethos feeds directly into their sound, a hard driving rock style that draws on Siyeon's background in heavy, guitar forward K pop while giving the instrumentalists room to push things further.
