Clara Luciani made her mark as one of the vocalists in the French rock band La Femme, singing on their 2013 album Psycho Tropical Berlin before striking out on her own. After a stint touring with singer Raphaël and collaborating with Benjamin Biolay, she released her debut EP Monstre d'amour in 2017 to critical acclaim, followed by her first studio album Sainte Victoire in 2018. That record took her as far as Australia for the So Frenchy So Chic festival series. Her second album Cœur arrived in 2021, and both records have gone double platinum. She has won the Victoires de la musique prize for best female artist twice, in 2020 and 2022, with Cœur also picking up the award for best album. Her sound draws on chanson française, disco and synth pop, and she counts Nico, PJ Harvey, Serge Gainsbourg and the Pixies among her inspirations.
