About
Club Le Bon is an '80s tribute band from Arnhem, and the whole thing runs on a love for that decade. What sets them apart is how wide they cast the net: instead of sticking to one corner of the eighties, they cover almost every genre the era produced. A set can jump from The Cure to Doe Maar, from David Bowie to Duran Duran, from UB40 to U2, or from Run DMC to Talk Talk. Wham! sits next to Madness, Killing Joke next to King, and Neue Deutsche Welle next to the New Romantics. The band treats a show as a proper party rather than just a run of songs. Expect eighties outfits, visuals and buttons to go with the music. They have sold out a big hall in the Christmas holidays, so the crowds clearly follow.
