Collin's Live Experience

About

Collin's Live Experience is a tribute act built around the music of Phil Collins, covering both his solo hits and the Genesis catalogue. The setlist leans on the songs everyone knows, from 'In the Air Tonight' and 'Sussudio' to 'Easy Lover' and 'Something Happened on the Way to Heaven', plus Genesis staples like 'Mama', 'No Son of Mine', 'Land of Confusion', 'I Can't Dance' and 'Jesus He Knows Me'. The story they draw on starts with a drummer's job. Genesis placed an ad in Melody Maker in 1970, a teenage Phil Collins answered it, and after Peter Gabriel left he stepped up to sing as well. That run of drumming, singing and hit writing eventually added up to more than 100 million albums sold, between the band and his solo career.
