About
Craig Morgan is the kind of country artist who has lived enough life to fill several albums. A former US Army paratrooper who served in the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions and took part in the 1989 invasion of Panama, he brings a genuine authenticity to his patriotic themes that critics have noted even when they disagreed on the songs themselves. His signature hit "That's What I Love About Sunday" sat at the top of the Billboard country charts for four weeks and finished the year as the No. 1 country single on the Billboard Year End chart, making history as the first independently distributed single to spend multiple weeks at that position since 1977. Signed to Broken Bow Records through much of the 2000s, Morgan built a steady catalogue across albums like I Love It, My Kind of Livin' and Little Bit of Life, racking up seventeen chart appearances along the way. Six more of his singles cracked the top ten, including "Almost Home", "Redneck Yacht Club", "International Harvester" and "Bonfire". He later moved to Black River Entertainment and released This Ole Boy in 2012 and A Whole Lot More to Me in 2016.
