About
Also known as: Daniel James Seavey
Before he was a solo act, Daniel Seavey spent years as a founding member of Why Don't We, the boy band he helped build from the ground up starting in 2016. The group put out five EPs and two Billboard 200 top 10 albums, with Seavey co writing and co producing across much of their catalog, including every track on their third EP and all ten songs on their second album. When the band went on hiatus in 2022, he wasted no time stepping out on his own. His solo run kicked off with the single "Can We Pretend That We're Good?" and a debut EP called Dancing in the Dark, followed by his first headlining tour. He has since been building toward his debut album Second Wind, with singles like "The Older You Get" paving the way. He also spent time on the road supporting Benson Boone and Dean Lewis on their respective world tours. More recently, his upload of "Love's a Gun" suggests new music is still coming.
