About
De Gele Duikmachine takes the greatest Beatles songs and reimagines them in lively Dutch translations pitched squarely at families with young kids. Think 'Twist & Shout', 'Ob La Di Ob La Da' and 'All You Need Is Love', delivered with enough energy to get the whole room on its feet. The show comes complete with a big light display and colourful staging, and the format encourages singing along, dancing and general chaos in the best possible sense. Frontman Jelle and his band have spent years filling theatres with their children's concerts. They are known for the Kinderpopconcert, the Pepernotenpopconcert, and the Meezingfestijn at the Efteling. The result is a show that works on two levels: young children get a proper pop concert experience, while parents and grandparents get a nostalgic Beatles singalong wrapped around it.
