About
Few DJs can claim they performed for 100,000 people at a climate summit, but DJ Isis pulled that off in Copenhagen in 2009. The Amsterdam native built her name through residencies at legendary Dutch clubs like RoXY and Chemistry in the 1990s, and her mix albums "100% Isis" and "100% Isis 2" cracked national top ten charts before the decade was out. By 2002 she was ranked among the top ten female tech house DJs worldwide, and her album "Reformation" made the top ten mix albums of 2001. Beyond the decks, she founded Magma the Agency in 2000 and launched All Is One Records in 2006, a label bridging techno, house, ambient and experimental dance music. She served as Amsterdam's Nachtburgemeester (Nightlife Ambassador) from 2010 to 2012, helping push through 24 hour permits for dance venues, and was named Ambassador of Liberty for Dutch Liberation Day in 2009. She has been marking her career milestones with six hour solo sets at Paradiso, celebrating 30 years behind the decks in spring 2022.
