Q Factory is Europe's largest music production center, offering facilities for artists and creative professionals to rehearse, perform and record across multiple disciplines. The venue contains three performance spaces: a main hall with 1000 capacity, a smaller hall for 300 people and Q Cafe seating 150. The complex also houses the Pop Department of Amsterdam Conservatory, Red Bull Studios, recording studios and various music schools and organizations.

About Juan Atkins

If techno has a founding father, most people would point to Juan Atkins. The Detroit DJ and producer essentially built the genre from scratch, fusing the cosmic funk of Parliament with Kraftwerk's cold machine precision and a futurist vision borrowed from sociologist Alvin Toffler.
