A Berlin based DJ, composer and producer, JakoJako, born Sibel Jacqueline Koçer, has carved out a distinctive space in electronic music through her work with modular synths, including DIY builds, covering a wide range from ambient to techno. She holds a residency at Berghain and has released music on labels like Leisure System, MUTE Records, and NovaMute, with contributions to compilations on Tresor, BPitch Control and Figure. Her debut album Metamorphose came out on Bigamo, and in 2022 she teamed up with Rødhåd for the collaborative release In Vere. Her second album Tết 41, released on NovaMute in 2025, was inspired by and recorded in Vietnam, and earned album of the week from Der Spiegel. She has also collaborated with Detect Ensemble and Mareena, and contributed remixes for Martin Gore and New Order.
